Small, green, roundish ovalish, put it on the shelf in the sun and hope it ripens to a purplish color so you can make your world famous guacamole.
16 weeks, 2 days (4 1/2 months) and our baby is about the size of an avocado. Small, pink not green with increasing round and ovalish parts. Feeling ever-so-soft flutterings this avocado is ripening one day at a time...and that's not even because of the sun we've been getting!

It's fun comparing the baby to different fruits at the beginning. With this past pregnancy, eack week we bought the fruit that matched with whatever week we were on, and put it on a shelf in the kitchen to remind us to pray for the baby. =)
Hooray!!! I blogged about each of mine at the avocado stage as well, so my heart welled up, reading this.
And, remember when we were in India together and Thomas told us about this awesome fruit that I was going to love love love called Butter Fruit but they weren't in season until the very end of our stay and we waited and waited and he talked it up and up and then he finally brought us one...and it was an avocado!
I am so excited for you and your family, Libby!
