In a matter of hours we drive to Ft. Collins to visit my husband's brother and girlfriend, and relatives. Then back to OR for a wedding where hubby is the best man... then off to the beach for an actual vacation with my in-laws.
We have thus far experienced greenery, red rock mountains, wild flowers, barefoot running, wild rabbits, goats, and birds, napping and sleeping through the night, new food, new friends, new stars in the sky. All of which is especially appreciated after enduring that um.... not so nice 30- hour travel East to West. The boys were fine on the first 9 hour lag of the plane ride, but the final 10 hours from Germany to Oregon was...um, not so nice. We survived and are not looking back.
The baby is up, the toddler is in childcare for another hour (I love America!) and it's time to pack up for the next adventure. So far, it's been....um, so nice!
