On my night stand

Six weeks ago, on my night stand was an intricately-detailed Indian cup holding chap stick and a toothpick. Three books I was working through. A journal I wrote in nightly. An ipod and ipod docking station. A pen and a match.

Six weeks later, today, on my night stand is that Indian cup holding chap stick, a toothpick and two used pacifiers. Three books I haven't touched in a month. A journal I write one line in maybe, sometimes when I can. An ipod and docking station I use every night. A pen, match, spit-up cloth, homeopath baby gas pills (Hylands) and breast pads.

A lot can change in six weeks :).
