A thinking blogger

A while back my friend awarded me the Thinking Blogger Award. It's now time for me to award five others (who can then pass it on to five others, and so on). I surf many a blog and enjoy them all. Of those many, the winners of Thinking Blogger goes to:

1. Nate, my brother who works for the CDC and heads the Child Immunization Program. Smart guy! He writes on Public Health and Human Rights. If you're looking for something fluffy, skip this one. He gets right into the heart of many a controversial things. And I love him for it.

2. Gerry my professor of theology from Western Seminary, who also married my husband and I and continues to be a dear friend, counselor, and oh so nitty gritty man. He writes about faith in a beautiful tangible way. But again, if you're looking for fluff definitely pass him by! He'll get you first nail-biting then cheering.

3. Danielle; don't get distracted by her beauty. She's got guts and grit and more spice than her husband can handle. She's a mom of three boys and is soon to adopt a baby girl from Ethiopia. I love watching her world explode with earnest convictions over materialism, and her passion for family and justice is addicting.

4. Kristi; hold on! She's about to change you with her compassion for the world outside herself. Her passion and drive as a mom is undeniable. Mom of 5 kiddos (with one newborn) this girl writes on everything from family recipes to favorite sermons.

5. Dawn mother of two. Her son has autism and she has absolutely thrown her heart, head, and whole body into meeting his needs and creating ways for him to thrive. Amazing to watch and read about. Follow Dawn through her daily life and hear her opinions on child rearing, autism, and family dynamics. Always a joy.
